Sur les traces de Lamothe Cadillac
Pointe-à-Callière created a new educational site (in French) for grade 5 and 6 students, to commemorate the 300th anniversary of the founding of Detroit. In fact, since the Great Peace of Montréal, signed in 1701, opened the door to the interior of North America for French explorers, there are a number of cities that will be celebrating their 300th birthdays in the coming years.
