Pointe-à-Callière is a major attraction in the historic quarter of Old
Montréal. Built on the very site of the founding of the city, and named
a Canadian Historic Site, this surprising museum rises above authentic
remains, six centuries old. At Pointe-à-Callière, visitors step back in
time for an unforgettable adventure.
Tours at the museum become a unique experience, combining high technology
and treasures from the past, for all types of visitors: families, tourists,
seniors and school groups.
Recognized as a major player in the field of archaeology, the museum
also welcomes international exhibitions on that theme. Winner of many
architectural awards, the museum is a fabulous site to hold corporate
events. To really discover Montréal, Pointe-à-Callière is the natural
starting point for any visit of the city!
