About this object

Picture Michel Lambert

The Pill allowed women to escape the domination of men and become their equals. By being themselves, self-reliant and able to make decisions about their own lives, women took control of their destiny in the twentieth century.

Marylène Tanguay, age 16
Saint-Jacques-le-Mineur
