Free

Make the most of summer with free outdoor activities, all summer long!

From May 3 to September 3, 2024, the Museum goes into summer mode with Summer on the Pointe— a program of free and festive activities taking place on the Museum’s forecourt, in a warm and friendly urban oasis.

Program

This year, Summer on the Pointe is proposing a plentiful program of activities, mainly inspired by the temporary exhibition Olmecs and the Civilisations of the Gulf of Mexico, developed in collaboration with Montréal community and arts organizations. The Block Party (June 15) will kick off the summer programming, which continues with the flagship Musical Middays events (Thursdays, from July 4 to August 15) and Family Sundays (July 7 to August 18).

The very popular 18th Century Public Market will also be back (August 24 and 25). Also make sure to see the 4 temporary exhibitions of summer 2024… and enjoy Bistro L’Arrivage for a full day at the Museum.
